Summer Child Car Safety Awareness Campaign
The COVID-19 Pandemic brought many new challenges for parents, including the most routine tasks—like running to the grocery store. The Vermont Agency of Transportation wanted to acknowledge that, but also remind us all of the dangers of leaving children in a parked car.
Our objective became to encourage parents to plan ahead and try to find childcare when they have errands to run. Our solution was to not go down the path of finger pointing or scare tactics, but to wrap this important message in the positive, yet relevant, child-friendly visual language of an animated storybook in the public service commercial we created, and to extend the same visual approach into social and digital executions.
