The Vermont Department of Health was struggling to solve a complex problem. The state had too many groups, organizations, coalitions, and agencies engaged in anti-smoking efforts. Our solution was to consolidate Vermont’s anti-smoking efforts under one brand—802Quits. We developed a name and identity system, a complete digital strategy overhaul, and everything from segmented consumer and healthcare-provider marketing campaigns to community coalition training materials. During the run of this campaign there was a consistent drop in smoking rates among all our target audiences.
